I grew up in a culture and a family where young and elderly live together or near by, carrying of each other and helping each other. From my mother I learn the gentleness and compassion of carrying of grandparents or other older relatives.
Since 1993, while I worked as Mechanical Engineer, I experience carrying about elderly, in different format, one-on-one in home care, or in small group in an Adult Family Home. Back then I realized how much I enjoy being around elderly, helping them carrying about them. From that time, the passion grew stronger and become a mission of my life that I do it with calm, patience and compassion.
Since 2003, I began assisting and carrying of elderly in my home, together with my wife. I know every detail, every aspect of providing care and managing and AFH from dressing/undressing, transferring, toileting, feeding, medication administration, cooking, cleaning, communicating to family and medical personnel, record keeping, etc.
